- The amount of misunderstanding on these type of comment boards about the Catholic Church is astonishing. Some of you almost seem to get a strange degree of satisfaction out of attacking its beliefs, rites, history, etc. I could never do that to another religion.

- According to the Catholic Church, there is no sin in being homosexual. It is acting on the sexual desire itself that makes it wrong. I have problems with some of this as I find the "wrong" in it all is how some of us " use" others in both hetero and homosexual relationships.

- I have had to use the restroom in a business establishment in an emergency. If possible, I would usually buy a couple things to show my appreciation for their "hospitality" e.g. a candy bar, a beverage, etc.

- The thing is if you think of yourself as old you may start acting old, too, which can affect your health as you think it is okay to be less active. They say things like "We can't park there as I am old and can't walk 4 blocks" when I know they can and it would be good for them to do so.

- Comment boards always include those postings that reveal the best and the worst of human nature. There must be researchers studying these things. My spirit is uplifted by the decent and loving words of one contributor but then dashed and beaten down by the snide, uncharitable words of another.
